I’ve grown to love Memphis so much over the last year. So you know I was shaking in my boots when I was invited to Memphis Fashion Week! I literally screamed when they contacted me! You know I always got the deets though right, so for everyone who asked me how was it, This is for you!

Memphis Fashion Week kicked off at Graceland’s Presley Motors Museum. This was the perfect venue plus Y’all know how I feel about Elvis. I’m an adopted Tupeloian (Resident of Tupelo, MS/Elvis Presley’s Birthplace) so watching the best show ever at Graceland was truly epic.

The first day of runway shows showcased collections from four headlining designers. Local Memphis fashion designer T I E N A opened up the night. Daniel Maganta, This is Sloane, and Nigerian designer ItuenBasi was up next. Lastly, Rachel Roy closed this magical night showcasing her spring looks for straight and plus size women.

I picked out some of my favorite looks from each collection.
