Happy Wednesday Sweathearts! Today we’ll go over modest plus size style. Most of my readers have followed my fashion journey for sometime now. Just want to say thank you and I appreciate the love.
As usual, you know all about how I spent 6 years of my life in skirts and marrying an Apostolic preacher. At a time where skirts were not on trend! You get it shopping was the worst! If not we will chat about it later and I will link related content to this post.
I have had a love hate relationship with modest fashion and a very long history with it. However, I would have been ecstatic if I had someone who was into modest fashion back in the day. We could have discussed what was on trend and how to be a modest fashionista! It’s definitely possible. So this is why I am here! We may pull off one modest look every week, month, or day but it’s something that I want more here on the blog. It’s all about being who I needed when I was younger!
Spring is a great time for modest fashion. The year of 2020 is also a great year for modest plus size style. Never have I ever seen so many midi skirts, prairie dresses, and yoke skirts on the runway. Let’s dig into this look!
Midi Satin Skirt With A Chunky Sweater
This skirt is from the Who What Wear collection at Target. The button front full skirt is versatile and so incredibly flattering. This skirt is super old, but it’s one that can transition seamlessly from “Spring” to “Summer”. I’ve linked similar pieces that give the same silhouette as this skirt.
Speaking of classic staples, it doesn’t get more classic than a chunky sweater from Eloquii. This sweater is cropped but it can easily be tucked in for no skin to show.
