Everyone is screaming “Relationship Goals” these days, but how about getting your babe on board with your healthy lifestyle. I’ve been on this healthy lifestyle thing for about 8 plus years now and though my weight fluctuates I always try to make sure the house is always healthy. It’s not always easy but we have figured out what works for us. I’ve got a few tips for you and they are so discreet. Boo, will not notice that you want them on board to better health.
The first way to healthy relationship goals is to lead by example. You do know the hardest person to check is self, right. Focus on your journey. When babe starts to see you lose a few inches, pimple free, and super charged trust me he will want to know your secrets. First off, leave him alone and make sure that you have tunnel vision concerning your health goals.
You can be happy without happy hour right. Healthy relationship goals does not mean hitting up every food spot in your local area. Instead whip up your favorite healthy dish and watch a movie at home. Not only will you save calories, but you will also save money. I live for creating healthy food at home because no matter how much my hubby tell me he hates ground turkey, I will sneak in my favorite meatloaf recipe with ground turkey and tell him after he has scraped the plate that no beef was included. It’s funny, right. Sneak in some dark chocolate covered strawberries! This is his sneak peak that healthy food does not taste as bad as it sounds.
Try intimate exercising. Go for a stroll in the park and hold hands, dare him to race, and before you know it you both are out of breath and drenched in sweat. Friendly competition always wins. It does not hurt to kiss while planking, use him as a stretch prop, or even jump on his back.
The bottom line is that he must find purpose in doing all of this. My goal is to keep him encouraged and make it fun. So fun that he does not realize that we are burning calories.
I know you want the deets on my activewear. I’m loving the high rise Mulberry Floral leggings and the Mulberry Floral Crop Bra from Alexis Mera. The Mulberry Floral Crop Bra is full coverage and it hits the waist. The mesh in the back kept me cool and gave me a touch of runway. It’s always clutch to find trendy activewear in my size. I’m thankful that Alexis Mera cater to plus size athletes. This print is perfect for this season and extremely comfortable. I could stretch freely and I did not feel extremely restricted in this activewear, not only that this activewear from Alexis Mera is made in New York City.
Once you get babe to join the health journey tackle the kids next, but it’s step by step. One day at a time. It’s a marathon not a sprint. It will all come together!
