Is it possible to hold on to hope in the midst of sadness?
If you feel as if life is not giving you a break this blog post is specifically for you. There is hope to be found on the other side of sadness.
Cash App Hacked
The last two weeks of my life has been a nightmare. Not only was my cashapp hacked for over $2000. All of my cashapp contacts was sent a request for money (from the hacker). To be more specific a $175.00 request. You may be wondering, Did some pay? Yep, around $600.00 was collected from cashapp contacts and over $1600.00 out of my account. The stress and commotion trying to communicate with cashapp left me mentally drained. Long story short, cashapp does not have a customer service number. Emails back and forth and no resolution. All my money just gone!
I Lost My Grandma
A week later my true jewel passed away… My grandma! Felt like a ton of bricks hit me!
Hope In Sadness
While sitting at my computer sobbing minutes away from asking God why all of this was happening to me I heard a song playing on Youtube by Elevation Worship & Tauren Wells, “Never Lost A Battle. One lyric had me captivated in my dark place, “You are still showing up at the tomb of every Lazaras”. This reminded me quickly, that God always take what the enemy meant for evil and HE turns it for good every time.
You can have hope in sadness. The worst thing about sadness and depression is that it robs you of hope. Hope that the darkness, pain, trial will not last forever.
Be joyful in tribulations knowing that the trial of your faith brings forth patience. James 1:3
How do you have hope in sadness. You must access it. The way you access it is by walking in it. You must choose to walk in peace. Early in the morning before your day get started, Choose Hope. This morning when I woke up I whispered, “No matter what comes my way TODAY I know that it will not last forever” and “No matter who tries to disturb or frustrate me TODAY I choose peace”. When you make the decision early you are already prepared for whatever comes your way!
In spite of everything that has happen in the last two weeks, I choose HOPE.

Style Notes: This dress is so cozy. I wanted to buy 3 of them. The first day of Spring is less than a month a way and this dress will be in heavy rotation until them. Plus size thigh high boots are always a win and you know I love a Brahmin bag (it’s an oldie but goodie).
Xoxo, Chasi
