I have never been the one to love a white dress, just being honest. First of all, they make you look huge. Well at least that is what the masses say. It’s totally not true. Second of all, oversized looks are not flattering on plus size bodies. The lie detector determines that is a lie as well. It’s a new month and a new theme. March was all about neutrals if you missed any of that series, you can check out this blog post or head over to IG to see the looks. This month we are diving into plus size classics. Keep reading as we deep dive into the oversized white dress.
Plus Size Classics
Any white dress is super versatile; you can rock them with sneakers, booties, jeans, or leggings. You can style them for work or play. To be honest, this dress can be worn a ton of ways. While spring breaking in Los Angeles, California I took this oversized look to the streets. And we did not come to play at all.
I picked up this beauty at HM. Contrary to popular belief, you can rock straight sizes. This dress is a size Large. Plus size women should not limit themselves by only shopping at plus size stores. Although, HM has a plus size section the one here in Montgomery at East Chase Mall is straight size only.
I paired this dress with black booties and a straw fedora that I got from Asos and Target. Don’t forget a classic Louis bag.
This dress is sold out but I added so many similar cute dress so you can get into this trend. Also check out how I styled this dress as a top with a gingham skirt for Easter/Resurrection Sunday. It’s was a lewk!! Find the skirt here as well.
