Do you ever get a knot in the pit of your stomach when people try to apply unfounded stereotypes to you as a person? This happens in fashion and in life, periodt! For example, Prints make you look bigger and black women are angry. It’s all meant to hold you back! Keep you in bondage and forever stuck in a box! I’m so free these days. Full of black girl bliss, I’m liberating myself from social constraints, style stereotypes, and living my best life in prints. Thanks to Eloquii!!
Black Girl Bliss In Prints Featuring Eloquii
Black women are cool, calm, and dope! This is the image painted of black women in society. The Angry Black Women, these 4 words are so overused that it’s pretty cliche. On the flip side, I am not buying into the lie that plus size women look larger in prints. It’s time that we erase these stereotypes! Fashion and style stereotypes, and tropes in American society that portrays black women as ill-mannered and sassy.
