Easter is quickly approaching and I’m excited just for how far plus-size fashion has come. I remember growing up as a chubby girl how much of a hassle it was finding the perfect Easter dress. Remember in the 90’s about the only place a plus-size teenager could find a cute dress was Lane Bryant, and you would look like an old woman because fashion was not as trendy for bigger women in the 90’s. I’m thankful for the old Lane Bryant, who knows what I would have had on if it wasn’t for them. So one of my traditions I hold on to is getting my Easter dress from Lane Bryant. Yep, I’m 33 and every dress or outfit for Easter has come from Lane Bryant. So I wanted to offer some inspiration to my curvies who are still contemplating on what to wear for Easter.
So let’s talk about what’s popping and on trend this spring. Floral is here, the white shirt dress is a hit this spring, bell sleeves are giving us 70’s vibes, and maxis are a staple. So whether you are looking for something casual, classy, or just pretty. You know, “I got you” (excuse the southern drawl).
Here are my personal top 5 dress picks for your perfect plus-size Easter.
