Make a Statement with a Statement Necklace

A statement necklace can either make or break an outfit. Size is not a major factor either, you can go small taking a basic casual outfit into something comfortable and dainty, or you can go hard with a larger statement necklace that will do all the talking, honey. There is no doubt about it that the statement necklace is versatile, classy, bold, and just the perfect way to make a statement. I stalked some of my favorite plus-size bloggers Instagram accounts (lol) for statement necklace pictures to give you an example of different styles and sizes. I know, I know, you love me!

My personal favorite way to dress up a chambray button down top is with a statement necklace. I styled a gold chain statement necklace from It’s Fashion (similar here), with an Ava and Viv chambray button down from Target (similar here), and a navy blue ponte circle skirt from Lane Bryant (similar here). I was going for more of a sophisticated vintage look. The necklace hit the top of my bust creating perfect lines and not clashing with the vertical buttons on my shirt. You must be sure that your necklace does not clash with the neckline of your shirt for a polished and almost effortless look. I said almost effortless because it takes just a smidgen of work to do that. Well, for me it did. If you’re a guru, maybe not.

So be bold and daring and absolutely fabulous with a statement necklace. Don’t be afraid to make a statement. You can choose bright, edgy, classy, or small to give your wardrobe the sparkle or edge that it needs. You got this!
