I’ve spent most of the last few years working out in jogging pants and t-shirts. If you were a plus size gym rat then you probably did too, because plus size activewear did not really hit the scene until a couple of years ago (which was super crazy, because plus size women workout too). I mean just because I blog about being confident and happy in my plus size skin does not mean I do not hit the gym, right! Plus size women do eat healthy and plus size women do workout, let me clear that up right now. I’m a big fan of anything active and exercising is not something that I do just to lose weight it’s actually how I relax and find peace in stressful times. Stressful times for me is working out in uncomfortable activewear!! Fat, small, big, thin if your activewear is uncomfortable you will not be able to have a productive workout. There is nothing more worse than adjusting your activewear a million times while dancing, running, or walking. I have worn activewear that wiggles down while i’m dancing and that is the most frustrating thing, EVER!

I personally love this activewear because it is breathable, comfortable, and supportive. The twisted back tank has a high neckline and I personally love this cut, because when I’m running, stretching, or bending down I am confident that no one gets a peek of what’s under my shirt. This tank is perfect for my plus size busty girls who are active. This tank is light and the twisted back adds a feminine spin. I know that working out is not a fashion show but the touch of metallic writing on the front of the tank adds that glam statement that every woman needs around the clock.
The Mesh Inset Legging has everything that any woman could ever ask for and that is a zippered pocket on the back so that your phones or keys will be safe while listening to music. My phone (iPhone 6 plus) fit into this pocket with no problem. I love the drawstring inside of the leggings to insure no sliding down during your workout, so you will not waste any time adjusting your pants. The fabric feels AHHHHMAZING. My reaction was pretty dramatic. I can honestly say that I’ve never worn any workout pants that was this soft, and I can bet you it’s because they are rare to non-existing in plus. The vibrant blue was an added bonus. I’m in love for sure!
My overall first impressions of TEMA Athletics activewear was love at first sight. I know for sure my workouts in the future will be more productive.
