The why!!! For the last 8 years, I’ve been natural (which means I have had absolutely no chemicals on my hair). You have seen me on social media flexing in my wigs. Wearing wigs was an alternative to wearing my hair out and it gave me more time for myself, family, and work. Wigs gave me freedom! But chile, they are expensive! Bundles, plus coloring, plus wig construction, is $$$!
Why Didn’t you get Traditional Locks!!! It’s not easy to style and manipulate traditional locks! Before you come for me, I know you can style traditional locks but it’s really bulky and that was not the look I was going for. So I did not go for traditional locks because the styling phase would hit me! Pretty much, I was wanted to style my locs with ease!

How Did I Find My Sisterlock Consultant!!! There is a sisterlock website where you can go and get information about sisterlocks and find a consultant. However, all of the consultants on sisterlock.com are not the only consultants in the world. Just because a consultant is not on this site does not mean that they are not certified.
My sisterlock consultant has been styling my natural hair for years. We have talked about me getting sisterlocks for years, but this time I was really serious.
Pricing!! Everyone wants to know… How much does sisterlocks cost? For every consultant, there is a different price and there is a standard. So you will not find a consultant to do your sisterlocks for $300 unless it’s a trainee. It all depends on how many inches of hair you have and the thickness of the texture. To get my sisterlocks installed was well over $500.
We scheduled my sisterlock establishment on April 25, that’s when we started, and now we are almost 7 months old! Best decision ever!
