The masses believe that weight loss improves body image, but this is one of the biggest weight loss myths I have ever heard of. I’m speaking from experience. I lost a ton of weight and my body image did not improve until after gaining 30 lbs of baby weight.
I wrestled with low self-love at a size 22 and I was 10 times worse at a size 14. I thought that weight loss was going to fix the issues that I had with loving myself.

You know that scripture in the Bible that says “As A Man Thinketh So Is He” it’s Proverbs 23:7 and it is a BIG FACT. If you feel it in your heart about yourself. No weight loss, weight gain, weight surgery, weight pills, or anything else can fix that for you.
Think you broke, you broke! Think you ugly, you sholl’ is ugly (in my Shug Avery voice from The Color Purple), think you defeated, you are just that!
Changing the way you think about yourself is the most important part of changing your body.
If you do not think better thoughts concerning yourself all of your weight loss efforts will be sabotaged. Your body is a sum total of the thoughts you think daily! And this is the number one reason why you can’t lose weight and keep it off!
Exercise yourself to death! Apple cider vinegar, waist training, detox teas, and nothing else works unless you do! Nothing changes unless the mind allows it!

How to fix it in two simple steps!!
Purge your thoughts and only entertain the thoughts that make you feel happy and worthy. Tell fear, anxiety, and defeat where it can go and how fast to get there. Your mind is a garden and whatever seeds (thoughts) you plant in it is the harvest that you will end up with. A farmer can not plant watermelon seeds and expect to get an abundance of lemons (right). So why is it that we believe that we can think and say bad things about our bodies and expect to feel amazing when we look in the mirror. It’s not gonna happen.
Stop making jokes about yourself. It’s not funny to say bad things about yourself. It may be funny to your friends but it’s stealing your self-worth and good body image. Stop it today!!
Once you fix these things I guarantee the weight will fall off. You may be shocked that the weight is not always lbs either. You will start to lose all of the things that are not good for you.
