Southern Curve Collective + Curves On Campus

 

Just to keep the record straight, college curvies do exist. And today Southern Curve Collective put together a school spirit shoot to inspire our college curvies. Campus curves are alive and well!

My life as a college curvy was not always great! Remember back in my day plus size fashion was not on the rise, and this was way before the body positive movement! Shoutout to Lane Bryant, who have been dressing curves for quite some time. Lane Bryant was taking over for the 99-00 on campus, and my size 16 self-was banging in it. Just giving credit where credit is due!

With this look, I wanted to be cozy and rep the best sorority in the whole world! Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz phi, soooooooooooooooooooo sweet! So I wore my Zeta Phi Beta Jacket with an Ole Miss Sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white boots. Yes, I’m not your traditional girl that shuns white after Labor Day! I probably wear it more!!

My school spirit sweatshirt is from Sam’s. I love the minimal look. School tees are ok, but I always like something that’s not too flashy. It’s simple, light, and so cozy for watching college football at The Grove.

These blue jeans were inside my glitter bag for last years “The Curvy Con“. I love the detail going down the side and not only that these jeans will have you snatched to the tee! They are from RWN by Rawan, an LA denim-centric lifestyle brand for sizes 10-32.
