Last week, I was crazy stressed about what I would wear to kick off one of the biggest plus size events in the South. I’m talking about the TCF Style Expo, and guess what I was a speaker!!
Yes, I waited until the last minute. Don’t judge me. My friends say that I am the world’s worst procrastinator, but the fashion angels had my back this time.
When I’m struggling to find a look that will turn heads at an event, I run to one of the smallest stores in Tupelo, MS. It’s Fashion!! No really, that’s the name of the store (lol)!

I have a black jumpsuit addiction. This may be #5 in my wardrobe, but each jumpsuit has a different persona.
I raved over this particular one because of the statement sleeve and skinny leg. This jumpsuit is on trend and was extremely affordable. I love the belt tie that added a little shape to my waist. I’m pear shaped so it’s always good to play up the waist with this body type. I’m a true size 18! This is a skinny jumpsuit so to get the sophisticated, modern, and classy look I sized up to a 3x.
To let the sleeves steal the show, I wore a bun and geometric earrings. I’m a minimalist in some ways when it comes to fashion. I never want to come off as too flamboyant or gaudy in my style. My personal style is feminine, sophisticated, and polished. So no matter what I stay true to me.
