Wearing bralettes can be extremely challenging. Especially when you have a big bust. I have always overlooked bralettes because I felt that all of my bras had to have maximum support. On the other hand, it’s too hot yall and although support is great I’m here to show yall how to pull off a bralette with class. Yes, you can have a big bust and keep cool in a bralette this summer. Keep reading if you are interested in wearing a bralette with class this summer.
What Is A Bralette
Some of you may be asking, ummmmm what is a bralette. Sis, don’t worry I got you. A bralette is a type of bra with minimal padding and no wires or molding cups. It’s a cross between a sports bra and an ordinary bra. Now you see while I was shying away from them bad boys (bralettes that is). When you have triple D’s (DDD) you cringe at the words “minimal support”. Not anymore sis, I deserve to keep cool with class in my bralette.
Here are my tips to wearing a bralette with class…
Layering your bralette under blazer or suit jacket
A bralette under a blazer or with a suit is a sexy replacement for a blouse or top. It’s also much cooler to wear than a blouse or top. Layering your bralette will take away from the fact that your girls are not as heavily supported.
Find a bralette that fits good
You do have options sis. Don’t be in a hurry and get an ill fitting bralette. Most bralette manufacturers focus on the A-C cups, just as they do the straight size community but that is a conversation for another day. On the other hand, Lane Bryant, Torrid, and Eloquii have bralettes that are guaranteed to lift and fit my bigger busted sisters out there. So don’t rush, shop around
Be Confident
Like I mentioned earlier, wearing a bralette is completely different from wearing a bra. The support is different. So being confident is going to be the key. Smile, and rock it!
Style Notes: This gingham suit is from Target it’s sold out but here is a similar one, this red bralette is from Lane Bryant here is a collection of there cutest bralettes, and the shoes are from Asos.
For the month of July I’m hosting a faith, fashion, and fitness challenge. This challenge is super simple. No bend over backwards, touch your right knee with your left ear type of stuff. Just small ways to reset. If you are interested click here to see this week’s prompts.
