Happy Wednesday, friends! Although it’s been a busy week with my birthday and anniversary this week, I wanted to recap “What I wore to NYFW” just for you.
New York Fashion Week is such an amazing experience. My trip this year was centered around Christian Siriano, The Curvy Con, and lots of runway shows. We will get into that later, let’s hop into the lewks!
What I Wore For NYFW
Look 1
It’s overwhelming at NYFW. Most activities are not centered in one location. Therefore, a lot of time is spent in Ubers and walking. It’s all about practicality! Therefore, for look one it was a casual slay!
This casual slay was brought to you by Its Fashion. Fall is approaching and while temps are on the cooler side mesh is always an option. For example, try pairing your favorite mesh top with a cute bra and paper bag waist pants.

Look 2
The second look was built around my favorite color and a dose of comfort. The Button-Front Cropped Jumpsuit from Lane Bryant is a tailored dream. Fit, cut, length and design were to a tee (especially if you are petite-framed). If you want a more relaxed look size up. Pops of neon (Amazon clear and neon pumps and neon drop earrings from Rainbow) added a colorful statement to this look.
Look 3
Carrie Bradshaw embodies all of my fashion dreams. And because of this, my third look was an intersection between luxury and thrift. This teal/aqua blue boyfriend vintage blazer is from Goodwill. Is that not wild? How can a gem like this be sitting in my local Goodwill? The neon shift dress is from the Who What Wear collection at Target.
Look 4
For this day, the main event was leaving the concrete jungle to admire nature back home in Mississippi. This jumpsuit is another from Lane Bryant.
