Denim On Denim “The Canadian Tuxedo”

There is no such thing as too much denim!

Did you know that wearing denim on denim is forever on trend? And that it’s cute nickname is “The Canadian Tuxedo”.

Denim on denim is one of the most simple and trendiest outfits that you can put together. And the crazy thing about it is this look requires no extra gwap. Everyone has a pair of blue jean pants and a blue jean jacket! Well most of us do, and if not a denim jacket a chambray shirt like the one I’m wearing. You can even break it up and add a white tee, graphic tee, or tank with the jacket! Either way it’s effortlessly fly!

I put absolutely no thought into this look I’m wearing today! When my girls Faith and Bianca hit me up about shooting this look, I flew to my closet pulled out the RWN by Rawan skinnies that I wear at least once a week and this AVA & VIV chambray shirt that’s an old staple of mine.

I added some quick and affordable accessories with this look. My black patent leather heels and black fedora are both from It’s Fashion. I’m sure that both of these accessories together didn’t equal over $20. The heels were on clearance for $12 and I want to say the hat was only $6. Yassssssss, to slaying and saving coins.

So this post is to challenge all of my sweathearts out there! I want to see your denim on denim looks. Remember we are not taking a trip to the mall for this one.
