There’s one word that immediately comes to mind when I think of fall and that’s layering. And while it may seem difficult, there is a distinct art to layering that is not difficult at all. With that being said, it’s back to the theme.
I”m actually overjoyed that one of my favorite bloggers in the world and style goals decided to gift me a dress from her latest collection for my husband’s Pastoral installation. We will get into that a little later, but for right now it’s back to “How To Style Summer Dresses In The Fall”. Keep reading for look number 2 of the blog series (check out look #1 blog post here.)
The flow of this Boat Neck Maxi Dress With Ruffles made me feel like a princess. Confused as too if I was wearing it backwards, this dress can be worn the right or wrong way. Front or backward it’s a total hit! How did I forget to take a photo of me wearing it backwards (forgive me). The print and ruffle detailing give off a dainty southern belle-ish vibe. Also, my favorite thing about this dress is that Rochelle of Beauticurve gifted this dress to me from her latest Eloquii collection (ikr the kindest thing ever).
How To Style Summer Dresses In The Fall
Beautiful blooms flourishing in pink, red, and purple is a color combo out of this world. Secondly, the sleeves are perfect for fall before transitioning. I have not seen many trendy dresses that are long sleeved, boy Eloquii just gets it right every time. This is how to wear summer dresses in the fall…add a patent leather trench (this is layering with edge).
This blush pink trench is so bougie. But, it’s a closet staple sent to me. Gifted from CoEdition years ago, I’m definitely the fashionable Auntie! Periodt!
