It’s August Sweathearts, and you know what that means… It’s the Sunday of Summer. Transition time is coming shortly for our wardrobes. So today I’m here with my very first series and it’s all about layering dresses and how to wear summer dresses in the fall.
We all hate saying goodbye to our favorite summer dresses. And though it may seem impossible our favorite frocks can take us through cooler months if styled correctly. Keep reading to get all the deets on how to wear summer dresses in the fall.
My favorite thing to wear in the summer? You guessed it-a maxi dress. And I’ve found that maxi dresses are actually more comfortable and cooler than shorter dresses. There was a time when I hated all the long dresses, but these days I’m getting back into them and layering them in a way that’s not old school.
I love this dress from Eloquii, but unfortunately it’s sold out (I have options similar below please don’t freak out). I recently saw a photo of one of my favorite influencers Rez To The City, rocking all her black and white prints and was inspired to give it a shot. My goal was to flip the look with a dress! How To Wear Summer Dresses In The Fall
Let’s chat about styling this for fall and how I made it happen. My plan was to showcase the dress before transitioning and after. The platform Chuck Taylor’s set this baby off being that they are black and white, too.
